In our continuing efforts to ensure Boyd Lake does not become infested with Zebra Mussels - All BLS First Filing Members using the ramp and launching a craft must comply with the following as communicated by the State:

BOYD LAKE STATE PARK WILL REQUIRE ALL BOATS TO BE INSPECTED AT THE PUBLIC BOAT RAMP IF ANY OF THE FOLLOWING APPLY:

1) The vessel is NOT CURRENTLY REGISTERED IN COLORADO. All boats registered out of state, or operating on the 30 day bill of sale MUST be inspected.

2) The vessel has been OUT OF STATE in the last 30 days.

3) The vessel has BEEN IN KNOWN INFESTED WATERS in the last 30 days and the operator does not have a decontamination receipt in possession.

4) The vessel has any visible PLANT MATERIAL OR MUD attached to it.

5) The vessel has MORE THAN 5 GALLONS OF STANDING WATER in it (including live wells, bilge and ballast tanks.)

6) The vessel has LIVE BAIT (minnows/ crawdads) and no bait receipt dated in the last 7 days.

7) The vessel owner/operator is a not a guest (general public), or is a guest but the HOA property owner isn't present.

PLEASE be vigilant to protect your lake and have us inspect/decon boats if you (or your guest’s boat) has been out of state in the last 30 days.
