Do not start work on your project before receiving ACC approval in writing. Homeowners may be subject to penalties for performing work without ACC approval.

ACC Project Submission Process:

  1. Review the BLS 1st Filing Governing Documents as they relate to your project.
    • Prior covenant review as it relates to your project before you submit plans may avoid multiple review turns as well as potential rejection due to covenant conflicts.
  2. Download and fill out Architectural Review Application (found below).
  3. Submit application, plans, color, and other samples as needed to a member of the ACC. Current ACC members and contact information can be found on the main Architectural Control Committee page.
    • Please provide enough copies of your plans for each ACC member to avoid unnecessary review delays.
  4. Upon receipt of written approval for your application you can commence with your project.
  5. Any changes to project plans after initial approval need to be submitted and reviewed by the ACC before modifying the work performed. Failure to do so may result in redoing your project and/or homeowner penalties.

Important Note: Do not wait until the last minute to submit your ACC Review Application. It can take several weeks to review an application and there may be several rounds of review before final approval of your project.
